For
a long time Artesia has been present in the
ancient medieval village of Certaldo.
It is here where the "bisquit" (objects
in ceramic air dried and then cooked) are first "diped" in
an enamel paint bath and then compleatelly hand
decored, soon after then again cooked that vitrifies
the glaze revealing the various tonalities of
the colours. With patient hand and and an elegant
stroke, Cinzia and Monica trasfer on the ceramics
the colours of Tuscany. To see then decorating
live in their workshop and discovering ancient
gestures and the unusual chromatism that make
precius vases and plates trasforms this shop
in an unusual jewel of handicrafts of the region.
