The Azienda Agricola F.lli Vagnoni, founded
in 1951, rises on the splendid Tuscan hills near San Gimignano. In 1965
it bottled its first wine; today it prepares about 19 hectares of vineyard,
from which it produces the famous Vernaccia of San Gimignano.
The company also practices the activity of agriturismo, offering hospitality
in apartments and studio apartments in the midst of the Tuscan hills. |
| CHIANTI COLLI SENESI
|
| Without a doubt one of the most well-known
and appreciated Italian red wines. It is produced from Sangiovese (90%)
and Canaiolo (10%) grapes that, after careful selection, are fermented
in stainless steel containers. With its intense wine perfume, intensely,
sometimes with hints of violets, and its dry and harmonic taste and ruby
color, this wine is perfect accompaniment with all types of meat. |

| The first Italian wine to have been granted
the "Denomination of Checked Origin" (D.O.C.) in 1966. It is
produced with grapes from hilly areas containing vineyards that grow
exclusively "Vernaccia di San Gimignano" grapes. This wine
is characterized by its pale yellow color and its dry, harmonic flavor
with slightly bitter aftertaste. |

| VERNACCIA SAN GIMIGNANO
"MOCALI" |
| Born from a selection of the best grapes
of the "Vernaccia di San Gimignano" vine harvested in the Mocali
vineyard. Fermented in French oak casks, where it remains for 10 months
to sharpen its own yeasts. It has a bright straw color, with intense,
fine, and elegant perfumes of mature fruit and vanilla. The taste is
full-bodied. |

| Red table wine of superior quality, produced

vanilla. It`s flavor is tannico and rather soft. |

| The "Casa alle
Vacche",
is situated in Lucignano (Pancole) in the territory of San Gimignano.
This area is parttcularly favourable for the cultivation of vines and
olives. Because of their ideal exposure and soil composition, the vineyards
produce grapes of highest quality. Vinificated with passion and professionality

| The Azienda Agricola
CASALE is situated in the heart of central Tuscany, near the old city of Certaldo
(province of Florence), where the poet Boccaccio wrote his masterpiece,
the "Decameron". Our farm is located 7 km. from the city in
an uninhabited part of the countryside., on the mild and green hills
with cypress where the olive trees and lines of grapevines. The Giglioli
family have worked on this property for eversince: we have an old accounting
book of our forefather Giuseppe Giglioli written from 1771 (226 years
ago) which we show with pride to all our visitors. |
